Controversial and popular new art originals start gallery:

A brand new art gallery with a difference has sprouted in the vibrant area of

Brick Lane. The ‘Real World Gallery’ houses an internet café and art gallery all

on one premises with handy snacks and drinks close to hand. Located at 65 Hanbury St E1 5JP the gallery is to showcase art from international artists.

Controversial new art originals  are  known for the popular website and world wide art Awards (NAO Awards) started the venture to provide a ‘Real World’ outlet for artists to complement the  existing virtual gallery online.  ‘ the idea was to create a space that artists could utilise in the real world, but  could also be visited and used by members of the public that might not visit traditional galleries. By keeping it real we are placing artworks in the real world rather than sterile galleries and hopefully exposing the works to a wider audience. Brick Lane is an amazingly vibrant area and has a definite creative buzz about it and we hope to add to that buzz’

There is a 3 month exhibition planned starting May 8th , a Summer Party and also a year long showcase of the best artistic talent scouted from all over the world.

We want to be different, this is not just another gallery. This is a place where you can hang out, browse on your laptop using the free WiFi or just read a paper or magazine or search our thousands of artworks online by using our various terminals with high speed internet access. We also intend to have numerous one off exhibitions and events so other art groups, artists and promoters are welcome’

Hanbury St is certainly a hub for creatives with street artist Roa’s ‘Crane’ just a few metres down the road and a massive art supplies store on the corner. The street bristles with artistic types, amazing street art and now a gallery for the real world.
